[A chronicle of a few passing events of interest, and some not much interest, only to the writer.] 1861-1872.

This diary covers September 1, 1861-February 29, 1872. It offers a good account of the work of a Shaker sister. She cooked, cleaned, washed, made candles, painted, and did some gardening. She recorded the comings and goings of her Enfield brothers and sisters and activities at other Shaker communities.
